Ergo the Ego is a project I started in early 2013. Loosely defined, the idea is to explore ego, personality, attitude and confidence, This being done through participants glamorous and sometimes outrageous portrayal of themselves.
Over multiple sessions I asked subjects to attend my studio and bring me something they wanted to show outwardly, The ideas had to come from the participants. There were no right or wrong expressions. The range of original ideas that came through the door were diverse as they were amazing, from very in your face to quite subtle.
Ergo the Ego.
